Parma is a unique community.  Despite being the 7th largest city in the state, we are a close-knit and caring city.  However, people forget that we share this community with more than just our neighbors and fellow citizens.  We have as many animal companions as anywhere else.

 

Animal Guardians for a Prosperous Parma exists to bring together people that care deeply about these animals and want Parma's legislation to reflect financially responsible, educated, and humane policies.

 

We have further to grow.  It is crucial we update our codified ordinance to end breed-discriminatory legislation and enact comprehensive laws, like Cleveland and the entire State of Ohio have done, that punish negligent guardians instead of a specific breed and law-abiding citizens.
